In these camps they were separated from their loved ones, were forced to have their heads shaved, and take religious classes by police, having mainstream morals and values shoved down their throats. Already 2 kids have reported assault from the ‘moral’ pigs that run these camps. In the US, similarly our government has the same moral hypocrisy- denying over the counter access to Plan B, yet have rapist cops, Cutting social services and giving tax cuts to the rich, and using the words “safety and security” as synonymous with deporting immigrants and incarcerating people.

The Indonesian government calls punks a ‘social disease’; we are here to show that we hope to be that, and so much more. In solidarity with the punks in Indonesia, and those who resist repression everywhere we will be holding a demo outside the Indonesian Consulate
at 6pm Thursday
